Russia will develop standards for the construction of modular buildings, the Ministry of Construction told Izvestia. This technology allows you to build houses and social facilities as quickly and cheaply as possible, which is especially important for the restoration of new regions of the Russian Federation, the department noted. According to experts, there is experience in such construction in Russia – for example, this is how a large coronavirus hospital was built in Kommunarka in just a month. The modules are also beneficial for the construction of private houses and summer cottages.
